The attached photo was taken in Mexico at the Bustamante Farms where they are dealing with salt and Pink onion root problems.
Look at the onions in this photo and you can see that the onions in front of the green flag are doing poorly because of salt. That group of onions was left in place and the field was replanted five days after the first planting. We treated the area between the two flags and to the right for about 12 rows and you can see the results that we were able to get using 2000 lbs per acre of Ag Grade TerraPro applied on the surface with only rain forcing it in about a week after application. This field is on sub irrigation drip.
